This is a translation of the German terms of use (Nutzungsbedingungen). The German version is legally binding.
1. Scope
These terms apply to the use of xrechnio.de. The provider is Ruben Anders (see legal notice).
2. Services
xrechnio provides free tools to view, convert to PDF, validate and create electronic invoices, plus an optional account for saving them. There is no entitlement to a particular availability or particular features. Features may be changed, extended or discontinued.
3. No tax or legal advice
Validation uses the published rules of KoSIT and EN 16931. A positive result only confirms compliance with these rules, not that the invoice is correct in content or for tax purposes. You remain responsible for the content, sending and retention of your invoices. The PDF view is a rendering; the XML file is the legally relevant original.
4. Your obligations
Use xrechnio only lawfully. Only open files you are entitled to process. Do not misuse the service, for example through automated mass requests or attacks on the infrastructure.
5. User account
Keep your credentials secret. You can delete your account at any time. Accounts may be suspended in case of misuse. Keep your own copies of your invoices and use the export function – the account does not replace your own backups.
6. Liability
I am liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act. For slightly negligent breaches of essential obligations, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of service. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.
7. Changes
These terms may be amended. I will notify account holders of material changes in good time.
8. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of habitual residence remain unaffected.
